NBRC Bridge Program 

(Starting January 2025)

The Bridge Program is a 6-month community of practice designed as a primer and pathway for educators aspiring to achieve the gold standard of accomplished teaching - National Board Certification (NBC). Participants will explore essential concepts, build skills, and connect with peers to support professional growth, certification, and leadership.

Key Objectives:

  • Learn NBC-related concepts and deepen understanding of the certification process.

  • Develop and practice skills in a supportive environment.

  • Connect with educators across districts and grade levels.

  • Build collaborative relationships.

Program Format:

  • 6 months: 2 in-person and 3 virtual meetings

Note: Currently open to Oakland Unified School District staff only.
