Our Mission
The Center for Research on Expanding Educational Opportunity (CREEO) at UC Berkeley School of Education uses research to shape policy and practice in service of creating opportunities for students and adults historically at the margins to move closer to the center in the United States and internationally.
Our Vision
We aim to facilitate access and to cultivate a diverse group of quality educators who can provide an exceptional education to historically resilient and marginalized students nationally and internationally. This education will help students achieve their dreams by granting them access to opportunities they might not have otherwise. We leverage and produce educational research to shape policy and practice in order to create these opportunities.
