Are you an assistant professor approaching tenure at a Research 2 (R2) or Research College and University (RCU)? The Center for Research on Expanding Educational Opportunity (CREEO) invites you to apply to a two-month in-residence visiting scholar summer opportunity at University of California, Berkeley.
Working alongside UC Berkeley Associate Professor Dr. Travis J. Bristol and a PhD student or postdoctoral scholar, you’ll engage in a CREEO research project designed to enhance your professional growth in preparation for tenure and promotion.
Our inaugural cohort of scholars in 2024 has set the stage for an enriching environment where collaboration thrives, and innovative ideas flourish. At CREEO, we are committed to breaking down financial and logistical barriers, enabling you to fully immerse yourself in this unique opportunity. Each visiting scholar will receive a living allowance and travel expenses will be covered.
