Hi my name is Sanylah, my friends usually call me Sy. Im 16 years old, and a junior in high school(one more year !!). I love the color purple, I have a bunny named shoebox, and I want to pursue a career in Neuroscience. I’m so excited, I can’t wait.
My name is Lolamaya Evans I’m a high school senior. I am Regional and State Youth Board member for the United Black Student Unions of California and Modesto City Youth Commission. My goal is to connect Black students to knowledge about our history, so we can more proudly love ourselves.
My name is Donna Pierre and I’m a senior in high school at west high school. I’m the oldest of four and I want to be a pediatrician. Representation so important to me. I am vice president of BSU at my school and I love it! I’m so honored to be apart of the California Black Studies Curriculum Project Development Team!
I’m Imani West (she/her). I am a sophomore at Albany High School and play volleyball year-round. I am also a member of my church's youth choir and serve as the youth liaison for the board of trustees. I really enjoy being a part of so many different communities.
