After receiving her teaching credential from CSUSB, Dr. Morgan Pellettera has served the last 22 years as a San Bernardino City Unified School District educator, beginning her tenure in 2002 as a high school English teacher at Arroyo Valley High School. She spent 15 years in the high school English classroom, becoming a National Board Certified Teacher in 2012 and a District Demonstration Teacher in 2014. In 2017 she left the classroom to work in the Employee Development Department in the Human Resources Division, leading the Golden Bell-winning Demonstration Teacher Program, working as a district Induction and Onboarding Coach, and serving as the Student-Teacher Program Coordinator. She earned her doctorate in Leadership in 2023, writing her dissertation on student-teacher experiences in SBCUSD. She is committed to serving the students of San Bernardino City USD and working to ensure they have excellent teachers in their classrooms, as well as multiple and varied opportunities for success in their lives after high school.
