Bio/CV:
Originally from Missouri, I’ve lived in Southern California since 1988. I currently live in Downtown Los Angeles. My academic journey began by earning my BA in history at CSU Long Beach. I earned my teaching credential/MA from CSU Dominguez Hills. I graduated from USC in 2007 with my doctorate in education. In 2019, I earned my administrative credential from UCLA. I’m in my 26th year as an educator for Los Angeles Unified School District and 23rd year as an adjunct professor for National University. I teach high school social studies/health science. At the university level, I’m an instructor for teacher education/graduate education courses.
