Mario is a student at UC Berkeley, studying Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. He is passionate about advancing Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. Mario is actively involved in several research projects aimed at using technology to improve society. One of his projects, Spotlight Kampala, focuses on improving e-cooking practices in Uganda to address common challenges. He is also working on nanotechnology research in collaboration with the Berkeley Lawrence Laboratory and NASA, which could lead to significant scientific breakthroughs. Additionally, Mario is developing a website, Aguga Para La Vida, to help increase access to clean water in Nicaragua, his home country, by assisting in the planning of water pipe systems. With plans for graduate studies, Mario aims to use technological innovations to create solutions for global challenges.
